  The Doctor and the Saint: The Ambedkar-Gandhi Debate: Caste, Race and Annihilation of Caste Book by Arundhati Roy   Book Review "The Doctor and the Saint" by Arundhati Roy is a thought-provoking book that explores the complex relationship between B.R. Ambedkar and Mahatma Gandhi on the issue of caste. Roy sheds light on Ambedkar's powerful arguments against the caste system and highlights the flaws in Gandhi's views.  Ambedkar's call to end the caste system is a strong critique of the injustices that have been ongoing for centuries. In contrast, Gandhi's idea of reforming the caste system seems incomplete  Roy's analysis is insightful and highlights the importance of Ambedkar's work.
